Community Integrated Care is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate health and social care professional for a Service Leader Level 2 based in Glasgow.
This role involves the day to day management of a cluster of supported living services in the Glasgow area. You will be responsible for leading a team of Support Workers across the services to deliver individualised support to 8 individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health concerns, so previous experience in the social care sector is vital.
You will ensure the services are compliant in all areas required by the Care Inspectorate and encourage all colleagues within the services to play an active part in achieving this.
As you will be responsible for managing services within a cluster, the successful candidate should hold a UK driving license and have access to their own car.
With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community. You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) and the hours will generally be Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm. Community Integrated Care operates a centralised on-call facility for out of hours support. Therefore, there is no requirement for on call duties as part of this role.
This is a great opportunity to make a genuine difference, where you will be responsible for leading an engaged and motivated team to change lives and deliver person-centred outcomes for every person we support. You will also take the lead by driving performance, setting the pace and direction within services, promoting a positive and passionate culture, and ensuring that services are appropriately and effectively resourced to change lives for the better.
In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area.
The successful applicant should hold a minimum of a SVQ L3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. A SVQ L4, or willingness to work towards this will be required for the role.
