Working closely with the Service Leader and the Support Worker team, you will be responsible for supporting 4 vulnerable individuals (3 men and 1 lady) in their day to day lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible for each individual.
Our Shifts: Days - between 8am - 10pm | 10pm - 8am (Waking Nights)
Shift Requirement: We are recruiting for day shifts at this time - this will involve working different days each week, including some weekend work
Contract: 30 hour permanent contract
UK Driving License Required? A driving license would be great but it's not mandatory
What You'll Be Doing
The individuals we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities, but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life! They enjoy lots of activities, including going to the movies, taking walks in the park, visiting aquariums, visiting ice cream shops, going swimming and going to coffee mornings. However, they’re always up for trying new things, so are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge.
Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes. This can include:
• Supporting with medication administration
• Cooking, cleaning and laundry
• Assisting with personal care
• Maintaining the homes of people supported and helping to manage their finances
