    About Community Integrated Care

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment.

Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.

Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.

We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.

  • Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

  • Are you a positive and motivated person who loves going the extra mile to improve the lives of others?

Is it important for you to have a satisfying job where you feel supported?

If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you’ve been looking for!

In our Buckie services, we are recruiting for Female Support Workers to support 5 individuals who live in their own homes to live as independently as possible.  The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities, autism and mental health but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life!

They enjoy a wide range of different activities, like socialising, baking, watching football, spending time with their families, and cycling.  However, they’re always up for trying new things, so are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge.

Our staff team are very supportive and experienced and provide support with:

    Medication administration
    Cooking
Helping the people we support achieve their goals
Maintaining the homes of the people we support and managing their finances

Our team provide support 24 hours a day, and the Waking Nights role is from 10pm to 8am.   Shift lengths can vary from 1 - 8 hours. We also have waking night shifts and sleepovers and some overnight support is required by all staff.  We are currently recruiting for a Waking Nights role.

Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010
