About Community Integrated Care

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment.

Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.

Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.

We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health concerns to live their daily lives.  Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible with them.

Our Shifts
Varied shifts covering between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday

Contract
Full time & Part time (permanent)
We are proud to offer support that is flexible and adaptable and work with individuals to ensure each support plan is up to date, reflecting how the person would like to live and what support is required to do so.

Driving license required? No but you must have a good understanding of local public transport.

What You'll be doing

You may be supporting someone living on their own, or with partner or even with their family. The support we provide is across various areas within the Aberdeen community and for example can include areas in Torry, Northfield/Summerhill/Mastrick, Seaton, Bridge of Don, Garthdee, Cults etc to name a few. Ideally we are looking for experienced personnel due to some of the complexities and behavioural challenges of the people we support.

The Community Living Project aims to enable individuals to lead the most independent lives possible and supports the development of skills and achieving outcomes agreed within person-centred support plans.  We offer Housing Support as well as Social Support for all ages from 18 years to Elderly age, with a mixture of abilities and desires.  In Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire we support over 100 people, which requires a large team of support staff.
