About Community Integrated Care

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment.

Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.

Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.

We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health concerns to live their daily lives.  Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible with them.

What you will be doing

We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Holland Street, Aberdeen. We support individuals that all have different interest and hobbies. They each have a dedicated flat of 13 that is 4 stories high with each having their own front door and veranda. This is close to Central Aberdeen and is close to shops, parks and the beach. We are close to the bus and train station. Some have mobility issues and use a wheelchair, some need a bit of assistance with walking and some are independent. They pride themselves with many activity interests, this includes going to the cinema, attending monthly discos, socialising at supper club and going out for long walks. Some interests also include arts and crafts, baking, gardening, cooking, games and puzzles.

As this is lone working some experience is preferred.
