Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge

We’re looking for an accomplished HR leader with the credibility, expertise, and strategic mindset to operate at the highest level. You will bring:

Essential

  • A relevant HR degree, CIPD Level 7, or equivalent senior‑level experience.
  • Experience operating in a senior HR role within a complex organisation.
  • Broad HR expertise gained as a Senior Business Partner or similar strategic role.
  • A proven track record of leading and delivering people strategy across complex, multi‑site or national environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing organisational change initiatives.
  • Experience conducting people impact analyses and identifying, managing, and mitigating organisational risk.
  • Hands‑on experience of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, TUPE, transfer, and integration.
  • Strong experience coaching and supporting senior leaders, building leadership capability, and driving high performance.
  • Significant expertise in change management, partnering with leaders at all levels to strengthen their ability to lead change effectively.
  • Extensive experience leading organisational design and development (OD&D) projects within large, complex organisations, delivering interventions aligned to strategic and operational priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience in job creation, job design, and job evaluation (e.g., Korn Ferry Hay).
  • Experience leading or managing projects.
  • Working knowledge of UK employment law.
