    About Community Integrated Care

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Care Centre Operator to provide the first point of contact service for individuals accessing support through Technology Enabled Care devices. Working from our head office in Widnes, to monitor the TEC platform and to determine and provide the appropriate response to meet people's individual needs. To ensure that all users of the TEC service are safe and feel supported in all aspects of daily living, so that physical, emotional and social needs are met in accordance with their support plans enabling people to dare to reach their goals and aspirations as independently as possible.

  • Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

  • Working closely with the TEC Team and frontline support staff, you will be responsible for providing remote support to vulnerable individuals in their day to day lives using our ground-breaking TEC platform.  Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible with each individual.

    Our Shifts: 8am - 8pm | 8pm - 8am  

    Shift Requirement: - Predominantly 3 x 12 hour day shifts per week on a rolling rota, but there remains an expectation that night shifts will be worked as required to meet service needs, typically averaging 2 to 3 nights per month.

    Contract: We can offer a permanent contract of 36 hours per week

    Driving License Required? No

    What You'll Be Doing
    You’ll be supporting a wide range of vulnerable individuals across England and Scotland, acting as the first point of call to support them remotely with whatever they might need.  Whether it's a bit of advice, reassurance, assistance or banter, you will spend time to getting to know the people we support so that you can help them to live amazing lives.
    This role is office-based and you will work from our TEC base in Widnes.

    The role includes use of our dedicated virtual TEC platform, so it's important you are comfortable with IT and systems, including care planning software.  You will be responsible for accurate record keeping, ensuring you monitor, log and update all calls from individuals supported.

We hire based on values and experience, welcoming people from all walks of life: seasoned Support Workers, Seniors, Care Assistants, and we would be keen to attract candidates with a strong mental health background, as this experience would be particularly beneficial in meeting the needs of the people we support and supporting the ongoing development of the service. Our ideal applicant will have experience providing person-centred support in the social care sector, as well as a SVQ 3 (Scotland) or L3 Diploma (England) in Care.
