Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

This is a dynamic and hands-on opportunity to support 12 individuals aged between 21 and 72 with a range of complex needs including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, sensory communication, and mental health challenges, working day shifts (37.5hours a week).

The service is vibrant, inclusive, and full of life. The people we support are proud of who they are — they love dancing, singing, socialising, and making the most of every day.

Activities include:

  • Spending time in the garden and hot tub
  • Playing table tennis and hosting BBQs
  • Trips to the cinema, seaside, and local events (that's why you need a driving licence)
  • Celebrating birthdays and attending parties

You’ll be part of a large, well-trained team of around 50 Support Workers, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. The role involves supporting individuals with behaviours that may be emotionally or physically challenging, so resilience, confidence, and a calm approach are essential.

You’ll spend your entire shift directly supporting people, building meaningful relationships, and helping them achieve their personal goals. During the recruitment process, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the people we support and see their personalities and needs first-hand.

Experience with mental health, autism, and sensory communication are highly desirable.  We will support you to gain more qualifications and develop your skills further.

Your values:

We’re looking for people who live and breathe our values:

We Include • We Deliver • We Aspire • We Respect • We Enable

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Excellent social skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • A fun, sociable, and confident personality — loud and proud, just like the people we support!
  • A caring nature and a commitment to inclusion
  • Patience, resilience, and emotional maturity
  • A willingness to learn and grow through training and mentoring

We recruit based on values.
