We’re a multi award‑winning charity with strong values and a passion for investing in our people — because when you feel supported, you can help others thrive.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

You’ll be supporting a small group of individuals who live independently in their own flats, while also being part of a close‑knit and supportive community.

Each person has their own personality, interests and routines, but they all share something in common — they enjoy spending time together, looking out for one another, and making the most of everyday life. Whether it’s a trip out for coffee and cake, a walk in the countryside, a pamper day at home, or simply relaxing together, there’s always something going on.

Life here is all about balance — supporting independence while being there when it matters most. You’ll be helping people with their day‑to‑day lives, which may include personal care, medication, supporting emotional wellbeing, communication needs, and providing reassurance during more challenging moments. Some individuals may need support with mobility, behaviours of concern, or epilepsy-related needs, so being calm, patient and confident is key.

The environment is lively and varied. Some people are out during the day, for example attending college, while others enjoy staying at home or heading out into the community. There’s a shared garden space where everyone can relax, with things like a trampoline and paddling pool adding to the fun in warmer months.

Being able to drive is a real advantage, as many of the people you support enjoy getting out and about using their cars to explore the local area, which includes shops, cafés and community spaces — all part of a friendly Broadstone neighbourhood.

You’ll be working as part of a team where every person receives 1:1 support, allowing you to build strong, meaningful relationships and truly understand the people you support.

Your values:

We know it takes a special person to work in social care — and that doesn’t always mean experience. We recruit based on values, welcoming people from all walks of life.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, patient and respectful
  • A great listener with a calm and reassuring approach
  • Positive, proactive and willing to get involved
  • Reliable and committed, with a strong work ethic
  • Able to support people both in fun moments and more challenging situations

You’ll share our values:

We Include | We Deliver | We Aspire | We Respect | We Enable

Most importantly, you’ll understand that great support is about building relationships, encouraging independence, and helping people live life their way.
