We are now recruiting for caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated Part Time Support Workers to join our support team in Thurso.
Our Support Workers work in a flexible and customer-led manner that meets the needs and preferences of people we support, enabling them to live the life they choose.
You will need to be flexible, committed and dedicated to supporting a young gentleman, having an ability to follow a detailed care and support plan.
We want to hear from dedicated team players who may have have experience of supporting adults with Autism, Learning disabilities and epilepsy who are willing to adapt their approach to provide innovative, person-centred support to this individual and support him to achieve his goals.
The gentleman we support here loves activities outdoors such as trips to the beach and forest. He is very sociable and enjoys time spent with family and peers and attends a club every week aswell as enjoying music and going out in the community.
Shifts vary from mornings, afternoons and evenings in accordance with his plans and needs. There are no sleepovers required. You will work alongside another experienced support worker and receive training on how to support him in the best way possible with activities and personal care.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving license
