You will also take the lead by driving performance, setting the pace and direction within services, promoting a positive and passionate culture, and ensuring that services are appropriately and effectively resourced to change lives for the better.
The people you will be supporting at this service are different in lots of ways, four ladies and two gentleman . Some are mobile and some need a little bit of physical assistance to get around their home and out and about in the community. (Some mobilise with wheelchairs).
The staff team are all trained and familiar with supporting their needs, which include Dementia, Autism and Learning disabilities.
With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
Ideally you will have experience in CQC requirements, and strong leadership skills, to lead a large team of dedicated support workers in this warm and friendly service.
In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. If you do not already hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, Care Management Level 3, then you will be willing to work towards one.
