We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Holland Street, Aberdeen. In this service, we support 13 individuals who have their flats in the same location with each person having their own front door and veranda. We have 13 staff on shift at one time. This very much depends on our needs at that time. We have various shifts during the day and evening and have a waking nights team. In order to support to live best lives possible our team have specialised training in autism, catheter care, Evac chair and learning disabilities.
Each person we support has their own individual needs, including some mobility issues, and we provide any support they need for them to live as independently as possible. The people we support pride themselves on their homes and enjoy a wide range of activities, which include going to the cinema, attending monthly discos, socialising at supper club, going out for long walks, arts and crafts, baking, gardening, cooking, games and puzzles. We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you will be required to be flexible to work on different days, including some weekend work. Our shift pattern varies includes: - 7am - 3.15pm - 3pm - 10pm - 10am - 6pm. Due to the needs of the people we support a UK driving license would be extremely beneficial but is not mandatory. We are currently recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hour) post.
