Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enriching the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

**One of the values of Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people and every year we invest in our front-line worker pay in line with the Living Wage increase each April.

Our promise has always been clear: we will do everything in our power to improve pay for colleagues.

And so, if you start with us between now and 31st of March, your pay will be £11.94 per hour & then from the 1st April 2025, this will increase to £12.62 per hour.**

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
At this house, we are all unique people and our challenges include learning issues, autism, acquired brain injuries and epilepsy. Some are more obvious, such as physical conditions like cerebral palsy and partial hemiplegia for those of us who use wheelchairs. Some are less obvious as we have emotional challenges and mental health issues as well.

We all have our own individual interests. These include playing or watching sports; special interests in electronics, temporary traffic lights. A few of us have voluntary work which is important as we can contribute like anybody else. We aspire to live more independent lives, learn new skills and maintain the ones we have. We look to make new friendships and explore options for relationships. We venture out and about using public transport, walking or, for some of us, using our own mobility vehicles. Sometimes, if we plan to venture further, we will use one of the company vehicles. We are a fun loving and humorous bunch with varied personalities. We can be competitive, engaging, inquisitive and full of energy.

Our home is a three story old building that has been converted into seven flats. Some of our flats have their own kitchens. Our building also has a ramp for accessibility for those that may need it and parking for our mobility vehicles. We have an enclosed rear garden with patio space and some lawn space. This would be great space for creating a veg patch and in the summer it’s great for BBQ’s and having outdoor fun for birthdays or other occasions.

This role is for 40 hours WAKING NIGHTS ONLY!!
