Are you a positive and motivated person who is experienced in supporting individuals within their own homes?
Are you looking to gain great experience in a satisfying job where you feel supported?
If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you’ve been looking for!
At our Thurso service, we support a gentleman to live as independently as possible in his own home and are looking for bank Support Workers to join his team.
In this team, you’ll support this gentlemen to live the best life possible by supporting him to go swimming, go to the gym, visit the cinema, enjoy a wee dance and go on holiday, among his many other hobbies and interests.
In this role, you can also expect to provide support with:
• Medication administration
• Cooking and home maintenance
• Personal care
• Finance management
Our shifts are from 8.30am to 8.30am the next day, with a sleepover in between. This is a preference of the individual we support so the successful candidate must be available to work this shift pattern.
We provide support 7 days a week, so we're ideally looking for someone with some flexibility to work different days.
A UK driving license isn't mandatory but it would be a big bonus, as the person we support has a mobility vehicle.
