This role is an hourly paid role, paying £13.74. The salary advertising is an example of the annualised salary for someone working 37.5 hours a week. If you work part time, this will differ.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

We are Griffin Lodge, set in large grounds and close links to Stockport and Manchester,  we’re a brilliant place to live and work. Griffin Lodge is a Residential care home and we have 12 people living here, who all have their own rooms with an en-suite bathroom and they all share a communal living area. We are 9 gentlemen and 3 ladies ranging between 20-50– we are all brilliant and have a great sense of humour, we all have different personalities and interests. We each have our ownpersonalised support plans and care packages, making sure we are supported in a person-centred way.

There are always 10-12 Advanced support workers on site in the day and 4-5 at night. There are around 45 colleagues employed here. 

Our home is based in Heald Green and is very close to the motorway, Manchester Airport and also good bus routes.  The train station is only a 20 minute walk away. There is a large supermarket and other amenities close by and lots of green open spaces to explore.

Prior experience of working in care is required for this role and a Level 3 in Social Care is desirable. If you have a strong background as a support worker, with any specialist training or other skills and experiences that you can bring to this role, we will give you all the support that you need to succeed!
