Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard enriching the lives of the people we support, with different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and PPE you need in your role and we will help you develop, should you decide you want to further your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
There are currently 4 amazing people we support that live at this service. We are looking for a few more amazing people to join the staff team.  We have opportunities for both full and part time waking night shifts.

The people we support have diverse needs, and in order to keep our promise to our charity's mission (to lead the best life possible), we ensure that we provide all of our support workers with specialist training in autism, learning and physical disabilities, Diabetes and MAPA.

The people we support are all fun loving, kind and caring and enjoy one another's company as well as the staff teams too. They love to be out in the community, doing different fun things like bowling, shopping, visiting animal parks and eating out as well.

As part of the interview process, you will  have the opportunity to meet everyone, and we hope after you have, that you will want to come back!  We are a very welcoming bunch, and we are really looking forward to meeting you!
Your values:
Being happy, friendly and understanding is the key to this exciting opportunity.  We are looking for easy going, calm, kind and animated people to join our cheery team.

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.

Naturally it is important that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care & support.

People's values are important to us, so we are looking for people with:

- Patience
- A good listener
- Empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others
- A strong work ethic
- Reliability
- Honesty
- Determination
- Resilience
