Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Day to Day:

  • End‑to‑end delivery: Own system integration, data migration, process redesign, configuration/customisation, testing, and comprehensive change management—ensuring user adoption with minimal disruption.
  • Governance & risk: Establish robust programme governance, enable clear decision‑making, and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Continuous improvement: Embed learning loops, track and realise benefits, and optimise post‑implementation support for sustained impact.
  • Strategy alignment: Design and deliver the ERP programme roadmap aligned to our long‑term vision, growth, and digital transformation.
  • Vendor & stakeholder leadership: Build strong relationships with partners and suppliers, negotiating and influencing at every level to maximise innovation and value.
  • Tools & reporting: Lead the development and use of project tools and templates (e.g., Smartsheet) to enable consistent delivery and transparent reporting.
  • People & change: Engage and support colleagues through effective communications, training, and change leadership—so the programme lands positively across the charity.
  • Quality, compliance & data: Ensure legal/regulatory compliance, embed quality assurance, and protect data integrity and security throughout.
  • Operational excellence: Champion best practice in project and programme management to drive efficiency, consistency, and high‑quality outcomes.
  • Team leadership: Motivate, coach, and develop a high‑performing programme team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  •  Scope & geography: National remit across England and Scotland.
  • Travel: Infrequent national travel may be required.
