Who will you be supporting?
- We are different in lots of ways (that’s what makes us interesting) with our ages ranging from 55 to 90
- Most of us are mobile but some need a little bit of physical assistance to get out and about. We have different challenges in our lives which include hearing impairment, autism and learning disabilities.
- We have a staff team who are all trained and familiar with supporting someone with similar needs.
What is important to us?
- We are proud to be living here and we all get along together very well.
- We have activities on most days which are led by us and Sanctuary Housing also hold activities.
- We would like to be respected, and we embrace being encouraged to be independent and to be empowered to do the things we like to do without prejudice.
- If we are independently mobile, then we can do as we please outside to visit our friends and family and have some fun.
- We are all independent in our own ways and see ourselves as being kind, caring, considerate and respectful of other people’s personal space and belongings.
