Who youโ€™ll be supporting & more about the role:

Our Home - Kirkdale House

We are all independent in our own ways here at Kirkdale.

We all require support in lots of different ways, such as 1:1โ€™s, shopping calls, domestic calls, meds calls, drop off/pick up to day services, cuppa and a chat, accessing the community for activities etc.

What is important to us

We are proud of ourselves here at Kirkdale for so many things. We are also proud of our achievements in life and how far we have come to live independently in supported living. We all enjoy different activities, such as going to the gym, arts and crafts, football, attending football matches, jujitsu, dancing, acting, singing, going to discos/karaoke, spending time with friends and families.

Our Home

We live in a large, supported living accommodation which is all one level, apart from the managers office which is up a set of stairs. Our flats are on the ground floor in different zones. We have a large garden that goes right around the outer building, and it is lovely for walks around. We have a patch of garden that we like to work on in the summertime.

With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your leadership skills while making a meaningful impact every day supporting people to โ€œLive Lives Bolderโ€

In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area.
