โœจ Who We Are:
ARC HD Services Ltd, part of the Community Integrated Care Group, provides specialist residential and 1:1 support for young people aged 9โ€“18 facing complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma-related behaviours.

We run four small, nurturing homesโ€”each supporting up to three young people in a warm, homely environment tailored to their individual needs. Every child has their own private space, plus shared areas for connection and community.

Weโ€™re seeking a Registered Manager to lead our Childrenโ€™s Home in line with the Childrenโ€™s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives while shaping a high-performing, compassionate team.


๐Ÿ”‘ Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Childrenโ€™s Home, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, taking responsibility for all safeguarding referrals and procedures.
  • Inspire and supervise a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care and professional development.
  • Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and external agencies to deliver holistic, therapeutic support.
  • Manage budgets, staffing rosters, and care plans with precision and empathy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, commissioners, and the wider community.

โœ… What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Essential:

    • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
    • Minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years
    • At least 1 year in a supervisory/management role
    • Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child protection
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
    • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Desirable:

    • Studying or committed to completing Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare
    • Previous experience as a Designated Safeguarding Officer
    • Experience writing reports and attending reviews
