Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

This is a full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) in a vibrant, fast-paced service that’s bursting with energy, fun, and purpose.

We’re looking for someone who brings passion, experience, and a sense of leadership. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Social Care and PBS experience
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Strong experience in mental health, autism, sensory communication, and physical health support

But don’t worry if you don’t have the qualification yet — if you’ve got solid experience in social care, we’ll support you to gain your qualifications while you work with us.

📚 Training & Development

We’re committed to helping you grow. You’ll receive specialist training in:

  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Makaton
  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
…and more, so you can feel confident and empowered in your role.

🏡 Meet the People You’ll Support

As part of the recruitment process, you’ll visit the home of the people we support — giving you a chance to connect, understand their needs, and see their amazing personalities shine.

This service supports 12 incredible individuals, aged between 21 and 72, each with unique needs including learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, mental health challenges, and other complex conditions.

They’re full of life and love to:

  • Chill in the garden or hot tub
  • Play table tennis
  • Enjoy BBQs, cinema trips, seaside visits, and parties
  • Dance, sing, and celebrate life — they’re loud, proud, and never afraid to have fun!

🤝 Your Role as an Advanced Support Worker

You’ll be a mentor, leader, and role model — supporting both the people we supoort and your fellow team members.

You’ll work alongside a large, well-established team of around 50 support workers, offering guidance, sharing your expertise, and helping everyone deliver the best life possible.

If you’re someone who knows how to connect with people, lead with empathy, and inspire others — this is the role for you.
