Community Integrated Care is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Quality & Excellence Specialist to become a key part of our Complex Care dynamic Quality Team covering our region 3 area (Yorkshire, Midlands and South of England) so candidate can be based anywhere within and around these regions.

๐Ÿค Your Role

In this pivotal position, youโ€™ll collaborate closely with fellow Quality Team members to support operational colleagues across a range of local authorities within your area of responsibility within our Complex Care Division.

This means working to agreed standards, embracing external research, and sharing best practices to ensure excellence in every service we provide.

What is The Deal for you?

  • Flexibility! You can work your full time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments. You need to be available to visit services and attend meetings at our regional office, but otherwise you can work from home. 
  • Competitive Salary: ยฃ30,000 TO ยฃ33,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) and a ยฃ3,000 car allowance

๐ŸŒŸ Your Day-to-Day as a Complex Care Quality & Excellence Specialist

As a Quality and Excellence Specialist, youโ€™ll be a key member of our Quality Team, working collaboratively to support operational colleagues across multiple local authorities within your remit.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Key Responsibilities

  • Audit, Action Planning & Review
    Conduct critical reviews of care delivery, guide remedial action planning, and revisit services to ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
  • Collaborative Quality Improvement
    Partner with the Regional Business Unit to enhance quality across all Complex Care  Community Integrated Care services, with a strong focus on personalised care.
  • Strategic Development
    Work alongside the Quality Strategic Lead to shape and deliver service improvements that reflect business needs and meet standards set by:
  • CQC / CI
  • Commissioners & Funders
  • People we support and their families/advocates

  • Quality Audit Programme
    Lead delivery of audits, spot checks, mystery shopping, and reporting. Record actions and recommendations using our quality monitoring system.
  • Inspection Readiness
    Stay informed on CQC/CI standards and Local Authority monitoring tools. Support Service Leads in preparing for inspections and contract reviews.

Your values:

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of managing a complex care or support related service, you will be familiar with carrying out or being subject to regulated activity/inspections. A proven track record of person centred outcomes and delivering personalised support is also essential.
  • Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence and can work flexibly in accordance with needs of post; occasional evening and weekend and overnight stays away from home.

Qualifications

  • Professional Qualification in Health & Social Care

Experience

  • Experience of managing a complex care or support related service
  • Experience of carrying out or being subject to regulated activity/inspections

Skills and Abilities

  • Can identify innovative practice and share learning effectively with colleagues
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to face up to changing circumstances and new opportunities
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and motivated towards excellence and improvement
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to established deadlines
  • Excellent written, oral, listening and communication skills
  • Willing to travel to different geographical areas as required
